There are a lot of things on my mind now. I scared I might forget the details cause I can't miss out anything~ hmm..
Set alarm at 7am on Wednesday night for the next day. Phone alarm rang at 7am, I switched it off and went backed to sleep. (: Finally woke up at 8am. Washed up and went to bathe. Changed into blue house tee and pe shorts. Spent my time tying my hair after that. Ate a piece of white bread plus milo for breakfast. Packed performance costume, water bottle and wallet inside my blue ndp backpack (matched very well with the blue house tee). Walked downstairs with mummy (she going market). Walked alone to Causeway Point. Suddenly realised I do not have enough money in my Ezlink card to board the train and I forgotten to bring any money even for lunch and dinner.. Lucky handphone not flat if not I die. Called Erysha and asked her whether can lend me money. She only have $5 with her and no extra but she still lent it to me (so kind of her!! TYTY!!xD). Waited for her to come. Called mummy while waiting for her. Asked mummy whether she can come school to give me money (i dun want Erysha to have nothing for lunch and dinner). She kept quiet for a while and started shouting at me.."你跟老师借啦....blahblahblah". Saw Erysha coming so just hang up the phone (i very bad right!!).>.<>:(
Went to the hall to practise for dry-run at first. The band down there watching so we shoo-ed them away. We don't want anybody to see it till the real G7 Campfire. JianWei acted as Mr Lee, he was damn funny. Went to MP4 to practise dance!!:D I like MingXian(wei)'s sound system!! Kept dancing and dancing and dancing. Then sing songs, play majong (games). Entong wrote 204 on the board and i erased the 4 and wrote 3 so became 203. Then Gigi came to -1 so became 202. Then we kept flooding +1 and -1 on the board!!:D We were told to eat early dinner at 3.30pm by LK. Before that, all scouts and guides prayed to our own gods that the rain will stop by at least 5!! Went to haven to take wallet and strolled to the canteen. Bought the rice pack for $3 and sat down to eat with Angela, ShiQiu, HuiTing and Shireen. Gigi and Entong was helping the volleyballer with the selling of food packs. The rice turned cold hours ago but we were quite hungry (or rather I was~) so we finished everything. Went to the parade square to pray harder.
At 4.30pm, we went backed to MP4 and sing song, play majong~ Played bingo, ticktacktoe and some stick game with Gigi. (: We prayed and we tried all types of ways but the rain didn't seem willing to stop so I end up cursing it! Gigi helped Entong and I tied plaits. Very nice~~!!xD Then heard that the outdoor campfire has been changed to indoor campfire..we were really..sad..;( It's unfair to us lo, esp the structure comittee!! They spent so much time and strength on it and it's useless now... We kept walking around with nothing to do, hoping that the rain WILL stop!! Went into haven to change into our performance attire. Chnaged into camp tee and dark? blue jeans at first. Shafiqah said the jeans not dark enough so changed into black skinnys (very tight). Changed into black socks and wear school shoes. Halidah suddenly came in and told us that Jasvin said the campfire will be outdoor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were SO HAPPY that we screamed like mad~~!!!!!XPP The rain finally stopped at 5 something!!(: From 1 to 5..rained for so long!!>:( We took brooms from the haven and started sweeping the parade square cause it was flooded with water! :D Put backed the brroms and helped with the arrangement of the chairs. Then the performance were told by Jasvin to hide so we went behind the PA system to hide. We took photos, talked, drank water. XD Gigi and I went to help with the F&B department.
After quite sometime, the campfire started. Starting with the emcees (Asyraf and YuXian) and the lighting of the campfire. The leaders of the various UG groups have to pass the torch in a relay system until the top. The fireball was lighted but it didn't slight down. It stayed at the top!! We were all praying that it would drop~ and finally it slighted down and the campfire pit was lighted!! We screamed ans shouted behind the PA system. Then when they say "scouts are lame..blahblah" we are out!! We ran into the middle of the parade square and stood at our positions. When the song "Bet On It" started, we danced the dance we have been practising weeks ago!!^o^ WOHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!xDD Very fun~~ :D After finishing the dance, we joined backed the other Guides. We down there screamed and shouted and sang!!!! VERY HIGH!!!!XDD Shafiqah and ZhongHeung were the gamemasters!! The first game was "Bottoms Up"! Azlinda represented Guides!!(: All the representatives gulped down the drink annd guessed what it is!!:D Then the NPCCs were up for their performance (skit). Quite interesting! Then the SJAB~ quite nice too! ("pop it, lock it, polka dotic") WeiLun lagger lo, people finished dancing that step already, he still dancing!!^.^ Then the councillors~ also very nice! Azlinda, Gigi, Entong, me and a few others kept running around the parade square!! We ran to the scouts there to sing "father ibraham" !!!!! They pointed at me when they say short~lols!(: Tried to sabo Nelson but didn't succeed, sad lah~ :D The second game was "fashion show". I was the one representing Guides. xP They put a black trash bag over me with three holes for my head and hands. Then I wore damn lot of light bangles. Newspaper somewhere around my waist, a belt (from Brina) and a mask. I dun really know how I looked like. When to the middle of the parade square and waited for other representatives. WeiLun was representing SJAB. They made two sharp boobs with newspaper for him. They kept dropping so he have to hold it!!(: We chatted down there. The we were supposed to catwalk around the parade square and posed. I walked and waved my hands trying to imitate Joel's "thank you thank you!!" Hahas!!xPP Then went backed. They took photos of me and helped me took out the costume. Btw I was supposed to be Lady Gaga so if they asked my who I am, then I have to sing her songs~ (: The band and the NCCs performance were very amazing too! :D I like the NCCs one!!(: Very neat! The last game was the "Auction game". We have to use the point we achieved to beat for unknown prizes. Not much participation, probably because they do not understand. NCCs thought the last item would be the best, in the end, they got an eraser!! We got a bottle of peanut butter. I think band got tissue paper. Counsillors got pillow. Scouts got mineral water. SJAB got milo. NP got pencil. Pillow is the best among all! After the campfire, we helped clear up the banches and chairs. Wanted to dance "Bet On It" one last time but the scouts had to fall in so never dance..;( We took our belongings and stuffs and wanted to walk out of the school but the security guard went home so half of us were locked inside!!>.<>.< Went to Mac at 11pm to eat!xD Quite a lot of seniors were there too! Went home after that !Bathed and went to sleep~
G7 Campfire 2009 is the best campfire I ever attended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOTSSS!!!!XDDDDDD I realised it is the process that makes the campfire even more fun than it is already!! Through the preparation, we know all the hard work that are being put into this campfire!! All of us were so happy it succeeded!!!!!!! YAY!!!^o^ The whole campfire is still edged in my mind now. It's like it is being hammered there, cannot take out!! GOOD!! I want to remember it forever!! Thanks to all the seniors for guiding us!!xPP
